I didn't do it in any detail, but it might have been me.

(I believe very strongly that LWW is the first book. I am agnostic on the topic of whether the Magician's Nephew or the Last Battle is last, though I have a number of friends who very strongly favor the latter.)

Isn't that the order Lewis chose when he had 'em published in the States? Or is that apocryphal?

Thanks, that may have been it. This was spurred by my mention of buying a box set & whether LWW is first or not. I had never heard of any other order for them.
